Imagine a place so magical that it has hair, beauty, skin care products and every beauty tool imaginable all in one? Ulta is that! As they say – run don’t walk! Let’s start with the basics.
Ulta is the largest beauty retailer in the United States
They carry cosmetics, fragrances, skin and hair products. They even offer salon services RIGHT in the store. If you’re making a trip to an Ulta set aside some TIME, these stores are huge and the products are endless. They carry a vast amount of brands from drugstore to designer! The stores are setup in sections that have related brands around each other. So all drugstore brands are in one section and all designer in another. They literally have tons of options for any product you’re looking for. I don’t think I’ve EVER left there empty handed…and lookout for the sample size circulars by the checkout, they are TROUBLE! My favorite thing about Ulta is that they carry the high end designer products that are hard to find anywhere else and you don’t need a cosmetology license to purchase there!
A few of my purchases
I discovered my designer sunless tanners St Tropez, Fake Bake and Vita Liberata at Ulta. They have a large selection of sunless tanners, including drug stores brands and my newest favorite Loving Tan! I’m so excited they recently started carrying this brand because it’s from Australia! The color is amazing.Ā I also purchase Mac, Urban Decay, Benefit and various other beauty products there!Ā They not only have hair, skin and nail products but also every tool you could ever imagine to use or apply the products with.
Let’s talk Ulta rewards
I know you’re curious about the perks! Ulta offers a rewards program that allows you to accumulate points for every purchase and will also reward you on certain other occasions like your birthday month! You’ll receive twice the amount of points on every purchase during your birthday month, even more of a reason to celebrate right?! Once you build up enough points they can be used for discounts on purchases. They even offer extra points if you sign up to receive their emails. You can signup here.
Discounts on products?!
Another amazing option to receive discounts on their products is to use RetailMeNot coupons. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased anything at full price thanks to their relationship with the coupon mega company! You can’t use coupons on designer products but they go on sale from time to time.
