Sweater weather lovers!
I am a Summer weather kind of girl but I do love a great sweater! It’s that time of year if you live somewhere that experiences the four seasons, so let’s talk about sweater weather! I’ll show you how to wear different looks. Let’s explore!
The over-sized sweater
Let’s start with one of my favorite looks – the over-sized sweater. I am obsessed with any look that involves heels and skinny jeans of some sort so this is an all around win for me! This is perfect for any occasion that you’re going for a more casual/comfy look. This look is my favorite for an afternoon of shopping or blogging on Boss Gal when it’s not quite cool enough for a jacket but not warm enough to not have extra layers. Pair it with a great tote bag (or in this case, fall decor) and you have the perfect look!
The dressy sweater
Is this one of your favorites? Add it to my list as well. Who doesn’t LOVE throwing on a comfy sweater that also looks great for a night out! I like any sort of wardrobe piece I can pull off with leggings or jeans and this works with both! I’m an on the go type of girl so this works well for transitioning from day to night. At night you can throw on a pair of thigh high boots to transition and you have a look!
Sweaters and ankle boots!
If you’re trying to stick to the cool weather theme and be safe walking outdoors go with ankle boots. The type of sweater doesn’t matter, you can wear it with a skirt or jeans! Ankle boots have become increasingly popular over the last few years with many versatile styles added. Don’t be shy, have fu with this look!
Ok, sweater weather lovers – that’s all. Now you have an idea of what to look out for this fall and how to style those sweaters! I challenge you to take an existing sweater of yours and create one of these looks, you’ll be amazed at what you can do! What are some of your favorite looks for fall?
