‘Tis the Season, it’s that time of year again! I’ve been loving all the new (and old) fall fashion trends for 2019. I’m going to share some of my favorite looks so far with you.
Fall fashion trend 1: the sweater dress with booties
This is probably my favorite fall fashion trend this season. Pairing a sweater dress with booties is such an easy and comfy combo! Last year was all about sweater dresses with over the knee boots. While that look is still in (and super cute!), I am seeing many more booties paired with dresses. I can’t tell you how comfy this look is! It’s actually easier on your wallet to go this route too, over the knee boots can be super expensive!
If you’re looking for a more affordable option, these booties from Target are super cute and are under $40! They’re not far off from the ones I’m wearing in the picture above. If you’re looking to splurge a bit, these booties from Vince CamutoĀ or Steve Madden are trending this season! They are between $130 – $150. Either way, when you’re shopping for booties, the side slit is the latest style in fall fashion.
Fall fashion trend 2: the midi skirt
The midi skirt isn’t a new trend in general, but it is quickly becoming a big new trend for fall fashion. Silky pastel colors or silky animal prints like snake skin are taking over the game. Whether they’re just below the knee or floor length, this is a super comfy, yet chic look for fall.
I’ve seen a lot of girls pair them graphic tee’s. They can be worn either loosely tucked in, or tied up in a knot around your stomach. I love the casual and glam look thrown together!
If you’re looking for an affordable option, Shein has many great pieces here. If you’d like to splurge, Revolve has really cute ones here! You can also get 10% off your first purchase with an email signup.
Fall fashion trend 3: black, white and neutrals
Call this my every day look. I am so excited blacks, whites and neutrals are here for fall. Majority of my wardrobe consists of these colors! They are so easy to pull off and can be bought all year round!
I love Express, Zara or Free People for these color options. My entire outfit pictured above is from Express.
Fall fashion trend 4: hats
Last year there was a huge outburst of hats in this category. I’ve never really worn hats in the past but when I started to, I was presently surprised how much it can add to an outfit! Hats are here to stay for this fall season.
If you’re looking to spice up an average outfit, throw a hat on over some loose curls. You can also wear one with a low hanging ponytail and a few loose strands around your face. Hats are a great option if you’re in a hurry to throw an outfit together.
If you’re looking for an affordable option Target has hats as low as $7!Ā Majority of their hats are around $20, but you can find the $7 hats in their dollar section up front. I tried one on yesterday and they are super cute! Urban Outfitters has some great options between $35-$45 if you want to splurge.
