Raise your hand if you’ve ever participated in a Sunday funday!
Chances are you have. The beauty of a Sunday funday is it can be whatever you create it to be!
I love exploring on Sunday’s, yesterday my Sunday funday consisted of a few stops around town, starting with German Village.
First stop – Stauf’s!
If you live in Columbus, Ohio you MUST try their coffee or visit their shops. They have two locations; one in German Village (pictured above) and one in Grandview (my fav location)! They have a variety of flavors and serve a unique variety of breakfast food into the afternoon!
Next stop – Lindey’s for lunch!
The sweetheart of German Village. Lindey’s offers fine dining with an amazing atmosphere indoors and out. Opened in the early 80’s, it’s remained one of Columbus’ top 10 restaurants to this day! Their food is beyond amazing which matches the deliciously sophisticated environment that surrounds. I suggest a glass of Scarpetta Pinot Grigio to pair with your meal.
After some afternoon Boss Gal brand work the next stop was Akai Hana for some delicious sushi for dinner.
If you’re in Columbus, OH have you tried this? If not – GO! It’s the best sushi in town and they make it fresh upon order. I’ve sat both in the restaurant as well as up at the sushi bar to watch them create all sorts of crazy delicious creations. If you’ve never had sushi I recommend starting with something simple like a California roll or Asparagus roll. Don’t forget the Wasabi and soy sauce!
Last stop – Graeter’s Ice Cream
YUM! Ok, I’m a sucker for black raspberry ice cream so I couldn’t resist a quick trip to get some ice cream – and what better time than on SUNDAY FUNDAY?! I know, right!?
That’s it! That wraps up another Sunday Funday! What are your favorite things to do? Share them with me in the comments or on Facebook or Instagram – don’t forget to Like and follow while you’re at it!
